Small businesses have always been our passion. We love meeting people at the very beginning of their journey, often at the point where they are trying to escape the nine to five with a fresh take on a service or a product. That is exactly why, on the 3rd of February 2025, we started Peak X Studio.
It has been an intense year, full of growth, learning, and most importantly, potential to grow even further. Building Peak has been a genuine dream come true for Owen and me. We would not be here without the small businesses that trusted us early on and the people who support and follow our content. We are genuinely grateful for the opportunity to do this work every day.
So… how did we help small businesses?
This is probably the part where we are allowed to brag a little.
Clients like Bluebell, an architecture-focused business, increased their monthly views by over 300 percent after working with Owen on social media management. On my side, clients such as Playmaker Creative Club now generate, on average, one high-value email lead per month since we redesigned their website to be better optimised for SEO.
Beyond results and metrics, we are also there mentally for our clients. Running a small business comes with highs and lows, uncertainty, and pressure. Being able to support small businesses through that journey is a privilege, and one we do not take lightly.
So how do we help small businesses on a technical level?
This part is actually much simpler to explain than people expect.
Over time, Owen and I have built a streamlined process that works well for small businesses at different stages of growth. Most clients start with Owen, who focuses on creating strong logos and branding that help small businesses stand out in crowded markets.
From there, the baton is passed to me, Callum, to design and build the website. At this point, most small businesses want people to actually see the site, so they choose Peak to host it. Soon after, they realise they really want people to find it, which is where SEO comes in. That usually means a bespoke blog written once a month, similar in spirit to what we do here, just more formal and built specifically to rank.
As small businesses grow, they often want to cast the net even wider through social media. That is when Owen steps back in to focus on content and distribution, helping small businesses reach new audiences and, in some cases, go viral.
What are your plans for the future?
If you want a technical answer to that question, our change log is the best place to look. It shows exactly how Peak is evolving over time.
If you want a more emotional answer, our very first blog probably explains it better than anything else ever could.
What sets Peak X Studio apart from other businesses?
Well first of all our work effic, it’s always been our USP in any job or task Owen or I have taken, I like it was a Gigi Hadid quote that said soemthing llike ” you wont always be the prettiest or smartest person in the room but you can always the most kindest and most hard working person there” again, I don’t know if I just attributed that quote to her or she did actually say it but I digress.
The second is response time. Many designers take five to seven days to come back with revisions. We aim for twenty four hours. Treating our creative work with the same structure and accountability as a managed service provider was always important to us. Being creative does not mean you cannot track performance, response times, and reliability.
Final thoughts
Thank you to every single small business that has worked with us over the past year. We genuinely appreciate the trust you have placed in Peak X Studio.
Here is to a strong year of growth, for us, for small businesses everywhere, and for everyone reading this.
