“Callum was a joy to work with. Developed a great understanding of our brand and the goals of the project whilst bringing fresh ideas and expertise. Great at what they do and super collaborative and quick with feedback!”
The problem.
Playmaker Creative Club is a well established creative agency working with major brands in the sport and lifestyle space, including Gymshark, Nike, and Myprotein. Despite the strength of the brand and portfolio, the website was not performing as a business tool.
The existing site was built on Squarespace and suffered from several limitations.
First, it was not optimised for search engines, which meant the website was generating little to no inbound enquiries despite strong industry credentials. Second, the site experience was inconsistent across devices. Layouts were bulky, performance was slow, and responsiveness across breakpoints was unreliable. Finally, the business wanted to introduce an online shop, which the existing setup did not support effectively.
In short, the brand had strong creative credibility, but the website was not translating that into visibility, usability, or leads.
The solution.
Peak X rebuilt the entire website from the ground up using WordPress and Elementor, giving the business a faster, more flexible platform that could properly support its growth.
The rebuild focused on three key areas.
First, the site architecture and pages were fully optimised for search engines. Images were compressed and structured correctly, metadata and page structure were implemented, and the content hierarchy was refined to improve discoverability.
Second, the design was rebuilt responsively across all breakpoints. Every section was tested and refined for desktop, tablet, and mobile to ensure the site felt smooth, fast, and usable on any device.
Third, a fully functional ecommerce store was introduced using WooCommerce. This allowed Playmaker Creative Club to sell products directly through the website while maintaining a consistent visual style with the rest of the brand.
The result was a modern, scalable platform that aligned with the quality of the brand itself.
The outcome.
